Apparently, 2 officers of the Amesbury Police Department just walked though my home WITHOUT informing me that they were doing so- i would never have known had my neighbor not called and asked if I was alright. WHAT THE FUCK??? So I called the police department- they weren't looking for me or Jeff, but it was nothing to concern myself with. NOTHING TO CONCERN MYSELF WITH?! COPS WITH GUNS WERE JUST MEANDERING THOUGH MY HOME WITHOUT MY CONSENT AND NO SEARCH WARRENT AND THIS IS NOTHING TO CONCERN MYSELF WITH?!???! IS THE COMMUNIST CHINA?? Granted, we don't have anything illegal in the house, and there's no reason why they should be here, but that's exactly my point. WHY were there cops walking around my house without me knowing about it? I was only upstairs in my bedroom cleaning, so not only did they do it without me knowing, they did it without me knowing WHILE I WAS HOME. Freaking scary man. Freaking scary.
I'm really freaked out right now.

I'm watching some thing on SciFi on Faith Healing (because there's something else in the program that I want to watch, and I gotta sit though this CRAP about faith first) and Michael McCarron sums up how i think perfectly. You DON'T NEED RELIGION TO TELL YOU HOW TO LIVE. MORALS PRE-DATE RELIGION- THEY HAVE BEEN PRACTICED FOR CENTUIRES BEFORE RELIGON "MADE THEM". Read Plato and Socrates if you want more on that subject, and Aristotle too. Stupid asses that think god makes them moral and that ethics and morals come from the bible. I live an upright life and NOT because I fear going to hell (which is a contridiction all it's own) but becuase I KNOW THINGS ARE WRONG AND I DON'T NEED A BOOK, OR SOME YAHOO WITH THE BOOK TO TELL ME RIGHT FROM WRONG. UGH. Religious nutjobs and various other fruitcakes make me mad.

My sister had a baby!!!.....17 years ago. Holly was adopted when she was 20 months because Tara was 16 when she was born...
and yesterday, I found her....
I was getting pizza and I didn't have any cash, so I paid wth my credit card. THe girl behind the counter says to me "my last name is schmidt too." so I joked "we're probably related by some relitive we've never met before.." so she says "Do you know Tara?" i said "yeah, that's my sister"...
Well when Holly was adopted her family changed her name......
and this is Holly...
17 years later, I've finally met my oldest neice :)

I just got home from a tooth extraction, and they didn't give me any drugs for later because I' allergic to all narcotic (and almost all non-narcotic) painkillers that contain opiate derivitives. So, they told me to take AN ibuprophen and call if it hurts...this sucks |

I'm not really sure what I should say here. I kinda want to tell everyone what happened, but that usually results in people asking lots and lots of questions that I don't want to answer and sympathy that I also don't want or need. Maybe that makes me seem like an asshole, but I really DON'T want sympathy and I don't want a zillion questions.
My dad had a heart attack yesterday. Thats all anyone needs to know, and that's all anyone's going to find out, so spare the questions and the concern, 'cause I won't answer them and, quite honestly, I don't want the sympathy. The only reason this is even up here is because there are those few people who actually give a damn beyond the superficial niceties that somehow seem to permeate people's journals. So that's my rant about that. I'm going now. |

So what's new?
Not much, really. I'm all moved and settled for the most part. I move out of the dorms for good on Tuesday the 21st so that I can commute next semester. Please, don't tell me how stupid or crazy i am, just respect my decision. So anyway, I bought this really cool game called Carcassone, and the aim is to build castles and farmland and stuff. It's difficult to explain over Lj, so I won't try. I've been playing Magic with the guys etc. lately. I've forgotten how much I love doing that. I don't care what y'all say, don't be hatin' on the Magic. The other day, I was at teh train station in Newburyport and I stole a table out of the Salvation Army bin. Hey, i'm poor too! I had an encounter with a dude at the train station- i told him to pull his pants up and he called me a "triflin' hoe" whatever the fuck that is. No word of a lie- a triflin' hoe. someone explain to me what that is please. i'm off to write papers now! yay! |

I know everyone is stressed about the end of the semester, but would you kindly realize you're not the ONLY PERSON that happens to be stressing? The whiney babble about who has more work and who is more tired is just stupid and unnecessary. yes, you have a lot of work and talking about it helps in the form of venting, but for christssake, shut up. people are afraid to tell you know one gives a damn about how much work you have because they don't want to hurt your feelings, and thats damned admirable, but jesus, how many times do you have to say "i'm tired and i have a paper and a test" we know. we don't care. we're all tired, we all have papers and tests- that's part of the whole college deal- so learn to deal and stop venting to every man, woman and child that you see, and we'll all thank you. |
